The Microsoft product team is pleased to announce the availability of Cumulative Update 17 to Exchange Server 2016. This cumulative update includes fixes for nonsecurity issues and all previously released fixes for security and nonsecurity issues.

Exchange Server 2016 CU17 build 15.01.2044.004 - Release date: June 16, 2020.

This cumulative update includes fixes for nonsecurity issues and all previously released fixes for security and nonsecurity issues. These fixes will also be included in later cumulative updates for Exchange Server 2016. This update also includes new daylight saving time (DST) updates for Exchange Server 2016.

Exchange Server 2016 includes a number of advanced features for organizations to have a resilient deployment of email across multiple customer sites. It is closely integrated into other products such as Office, SharePoint, Skype for Business (formerly Microsoft Lync) and Office 365, and it shares a similar interface to Exchange Server 2013.

Many of the features in Exchange 2016 were first deployed in the cloud with Office 365 before coming to the on-premises version of Exchange. However, some features such as Clutter won't be included because they require Office Graph to work.

Exchange 2016 includes improved features and capabilities from previous versions of Exchange. These include a faster database availability group (DAG) failover time, which dropped from about 30 seconds to about 18 seconds, and a 22% lower input/output operations per second (IOPS) from Exchange 2013.

Exchange 2016 combines the mailbox and Client Access Server (CAS) roles, which should allow for simpler designs and architecture. It also includes support for BitLocker to provide additional protection for data at rest as well as enhancements to support hybrid Exchange setups.

Exchange 2016 Server Requirements

- Coexistence: Requires Exchange 2010 SP3 UR11 or Exchange 2013 UR10
- OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard or Datacenter (full GUI required, Core not supported).
- CPU: Minimum of 2 CPUs with 2 cores each; Intel and AMD are supported.
- Memory: For Mailbox role, 8GB memory minimum; Recommend 16GB or higher.
- Page file: Amount of RAM + 10MB, not to exceed 32778MB (32GB) for initial and maximum size.

Download the file and use Exchange Server 2016 CU17 setup to install the UM language pack. Example: Setup.com /AddUmLanguagePack:UmLanguagePackName /s: d:\MyLocalFolder Install each language pack on each UM server and set it to the default language on all of the dial plans that the UM server is associated with when you want to make that language available to users.

Unified Messaging (UM) language packs allow an Exchange Server 2016 CU17 UM server to speak additional languages to callers and recognize other languages when callers use ASR or when voice messages are transcribed. UM language packs contain:

- Pre-recorded prompts, for example "After the tone, please record your message. When you’ve finished recording, hang up, or press the # key for more options." in the language of the UM language pack.
- Grammar files that are used by a UM server to lookup the names of given users in the directory in the language of the UM language pack.
- Text to Speech (TTS) translation so that content (e-mail, calendar, contact information, etc.) can be read to callers in the language of the UM language pack.
- Support for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), which allows callers to interact with UM using the voice user interface (VUI) in the language of the UM language pack.
- Support for Voice Mail Preview which allows users to read the transcript of voice mail messages in a specific language from within a supported e-mail client such as Outlook or Outlook Web Access.

LabVIEW FPGA is a software add-on for LabVIEW that you can use to more efficiently and effectively design FPGA-based systems through a highly integrated development environment, IP libraries, a high-fidelity simulator, and debugging features. You can create FPGA VIs that combine direct access to I/O with user-defined LabVIEW logic to define custom hardware for applications such as digital protocol communication, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, and rapid control prototyping. Though the LabVIEW FPGA Module contains many built-in signal processing routines, you can also integrate existing hardware description language (HDL) code as well as third-party IP.

The FPGA Module also includes the FPGA Compile Farm Server. You can use the FPGA Compile Farm Server to offload compiles to dedicated computers.

The FPGA Module (64-bit) provides access to more memory than the FPGA Module (32-bit) can provide. The FPGA Module (64-bit) is available in English only.
Supported Hardware

The FPGA Module (64-bit) supports the following NI hardware devices:

- PCIe-576x/577x/5785/798x
- PXIe-5163R/5164R/517xR/5745/576x/577x/5785/659xR/7902R/791x/797xR/798x
- USRP-RIO devices

You cannot use an unsupported device with the FPGA Module (64-bit) or run example VIs that require an unsupported device in the FPGA Module (64-bit).

FPGA Module System Requirements

The development computer is a PC or NI PXI/PXI Express system on which you install LabVIEW and the FPGA Module. You can also install the Xilinx compilation tools on your development computer to compile LabVIEW FPGA VIs locally. However, if the FPGA design or target requires more than 2 GB of memory, NI recommends you install the Xilinx compilation tools on a separate computer. This computer is referred to as the remote compile worker.

The development computer must meet the following system requirements:

You can use either a Windows or Linux computer as a compile worker. The remote compile farm server must meet the following minimum system requirements:

Windows 10 is the minimum supported release for NX 1926. The supported versions of Windows 10 are the Pro and Enterprise editions utilizing Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) updates.
Windows 7 and 8.1
Windows 7 has reached the end of life and mainstream support has ended. Windows 8.1 is still supported by Microsoft, but was rarely deployed. These two versions of Windows are no longer supported by NX 1926. Siemens Digital Industries Software has not performed testing on these version and cannot resolve any issues related to NX 1926 running on these operating systems. If NX 1926 is deployed on these versions of Windows, any issues will have to be replicated on Windows 10 before filing an incident report with GTAC.
Windows XP and Vista
Windows XP support from Microsoft has ended and Vista was rarely deployed so these two versions of Windows are not supported by NX 1926. UNINSTALL removes all RLM Files Installed, and Registry keys. see control panel to uninstall.

If asked on startup : Select your Local Host Name, and Port 5059
Answer yes when asked by Windows Firewall to permit program access.
May want to Consider blocking Vue access to Internet with Firewall, or add blocking to host file.

Windows 7 users : Need to Update Graphics Driver for PlantFactory, and copy D3DCompiler_47.dll in
C:\Windows\System32\D3DCompiler_47.dll to
C:\Program Files\e-on software\PlantFactory\Application Folder. Save a backup of orgional before copy.
A dxcpl-directx-11-emulator is available to run PlantFactory, and Vue on Direct x10 Graphics boards.

The minimum recommended workstation profile for running OpenPlant PID CONNECT Edition is:

Memory 16 GB minimum, 32 GB recommended. More memory almost always improves performance, particularly when working with larger models.
Hard Disk 24 GB free disk space (which includes the 16 GB install footprint for a complete installation), 10-25 GB depending on additional installations such as Companion Features and Companion Products.
Video See the graphics card manufacturer for latest information on DirectX drivers. 512 MB of video RAM or higher is recommended. If insufficient video RAM or no graphics card supported by DirectX can be found, OpenPlant PID attempts to use software emulation. For optimal performance, graphics display color depth should be set to 24-bit or higher. When using a color depth setting of 16-bit, some inconsistencies will be noted.
